Preschool
Luke started preschool this week! At first we weren't going to do preschool. I was going to teach him at home and then we would put him in sports or dance class or something else, but a woman in our ward who has taught preschool before started a preschool in her home. The price was right, the amount of days he would be going was perfect and the schedule was good, so we signed Luke up. He goes 2 days a week, Monday and Wednesday, from 9 to 12.
I forgot the teacher had a dog, so Luke freaked out the first day. Once she put the dog in a different room Luke calmed down. It was a struggle to get him to go the next day. Once he was there he had a great day. I hope that being in a home with a dog on a regular bases will maybe help Luke become less scared of dogs. We are so excited for Luke.

A glimps into three
On every other Monday for two months I baby sat our neighbors baby, Wyatt. This past Monday was my last time doing it. I thought it would be a good chance to see what it would be like when we had three of our own, but watching some one else's new born is alot different then taking care of your own especially when I saw him one time every 2 weeks.

Wyatt is our neighbors first baby, so they do the normal first time parent things, well Alan and I did it at least, they hold him all the time, even when he is sleeping. You can't blame them, who doesn't want to just sit and hold your baby all day, but when you need to work and have some else watch the baby you can't do that. I would've loved to holed him the entire time I had him, but with a 4 year old and 18 month old that just wasn't possible, so he cried probably way more then his parents let him. He also didn't ever eat very well for me, but it still was nice having a baby around.
The kids really loved having him here. They were both very helpful especially Samantha. She absolutely loves babies. She wants to hold them and feed them and kiss them. I hope she still feels that way when we have an other one of our own someday. Other then him not being the happiest baby it was nice when he was a sleep and the kids were being good so I could holed for a while. There is nothing like holding a sleeping baby.
