A break from life

This year has been hard for our family and in the beginning of April we took an unplanned much needed break to visit Alan's family in Colorado. We woke up on a saturday morning and said lets go. We quickly packed, through our things in the car and went. It takes 14 hours to get there and we drove straight through with a couple of stops. The kids did great.
We are usually in Colorado for Christmas and don't get to do alot of the touristy things, so this trip we got to do a couple of things. We went to an old western town and then we went to some cliff dwelings. The cliff dwellings were are favorite. One day mom Chase and I went out shopping to this really cute town while the boys watched Luke and Samantha. We had a great time.

The cliff dwellings look super cool, I'd love to go sometime, too. Spur of the moment road trips are the best. Joseph and I are way behind on family visiting. First you guys and then Mark gets to go out to there too. Boo for us.
