Last night Alan, Luke and I were all laying on our bed when we saw the shadow of a little lizard crawling on our window on the outside. We've seen tons of little lizards around our apartment complex and thought it was neat that there was one crawling on the window. Alan turns to me and says I think the lizard is on the inside and I said no, we would see the blinds moving and he said yeah your right. So we sat there for another couple of seconds when all of a sudden we see this little lizard head pop out from behind the blinds. Sure enough Alan was right and this lizard had been inside the whole time. We all jump off the bed just a little worried about a lizard being in our apartment. These lizards are really fast movers and Alan and I aren't exactly the type of people that would just go in and grab this thing by our bare hands, I like animals, but not really reptiles I'm actually kind of scared of them if they get close to me. I went and got Alan a pot with a lid and some tongs and left it to him to catch it. Luke was really interested so he sat down on our bed to watch Alan. Alan was able to catch it, but as he was trying to grab the lid Luke bounced up and down on the bed and the lizard popped out of the pot and ran towards Luke. It turned thank goodness and went down behind our bed, so we move the mattress off the bed, Alan goes to catch it and it gets louse now there is a lizard running around free in our bedroom. Alan was able to catch it again, I put the lid on the pot and Alan took it outside. Since then that is all Luke can talk about, he says he was scared and I try to explain to him that it was kind of scary at the time, but there is no reason to be scared of lizards, we just don't want them in our house. After it happened Alan and I talked about how lizards aren't really bad and that we were happy it wasn't another one of those huge cockroaches.

We've had 2 baby lizards in our house. The boys get so excited its hard to keep them away! Both times the poor lizard lost all or part of its tail. That was the WORST part. The lizard seemed fine but the tail jumped around like it was alive! Eeeww.
